Early signs of trouble in paradise

An interesting message posted on Tuesday January 29 - days before the announcement that the rest of the Spice Girls tour was going to be cancelled.

I asked them to issue a statement regarding the Rest Of The World tour...

Dear Richard,

Thank you for your email. Your request has been noted.

Unfortunately we cannot release this information through email. The best
place to find all the latest announcements regarding the tour can be found
on http://www.thespicegirls.com. If the tour does go to Australia, it will be
announced on the website first.

Regards,

Sarah

that's the scary thing about your e-mail... it's still in the "IF" status?

Then "Xeriffe" posted:
its more like they are saying If not to throw their image on a trash bin like, if they say they wont be going now, while the tour is still up on north america, is worse than cancelling the other dates after this leg ends. Both ways are a very very nasty way to do that. They should have cancelled the dates back in october. bitches.

Then "Xmariano" posted: I think you've nailed it. That's exactly what they're doing, they will wait until they are done with the USA to minimize the press backlash. Bitches.

So it looks like the news was virtually bursting out of the seams of 19 Management, and a handful of Spice fans got wind of it days before the announcement.

Bitches.
